The Gatwick Diamond Business Awards
acknowledges those businesses or people
who have shown innovation and inspiration
in their work, and have demonstrated a real
commitment to this world-class region.
The Winners were unveiled at the 8th Annual
Gatwick Diamond Business Awards at the
Effingham Park Hotel, on 17th March, 2016.
The Headline Sponsors are Gatwick Airport,
NatWest, Nestle and Vines BMW & Mini. The
Evening started with a Pre-Dinner Reception
sponsored by Thomas Eggar, part of Irwin
Mitchell, and the evening rounded off with
the now highly anticipated After-Show Party,
sponsored by Heart Sussex & Surrey.
When judging the International Business
Award of the Year the judges looked for a
Organisation where the International growth
has enormous benefits for the Gatwick
Diamond economy. Frontier Pitts best
demonstrated an international growth strategy
that has achieved outstanding levels of sales,
profit and market share improvement.

Stephen Gaffer, Technical Sales Director of
Frontier Pitts commented ‘Frontier Pitts is

Business Awards. Frontier Pitts manufactures
Security Gates, Automatic Barriers, Bollards and
Turnstiles in the heart of the Gatwick Business
region. This equipment is installed throughout
the UK and exported around the World,
including the Middle East, Europe, Australia,
Russia and the Far East. This award recognises
the counter terrorist equipment which is
produced in Gatwick area using local skills,
mitigating potential threats internationally, and
Protecting Our World.

growth across several years in many difficult

Control Gates & Turnstiles.
Our Anti Terra Hostile Vehicle Mitigation
(HVM) range has been successfully impact
tested in accordance to the new International
IWA14 & the British PAS68 specifications.
Over the last two years Frontier Pitts have
won multiple projects in the Middle East,
including project managing and installing
numerous IWA 14 and PAS 68 impact tested
Terra Sliding Gates and Terra Manual Barriers in
the Oil Fields of Iraq, providing Hostile Vehicle
Mitigation to Critical National Infrastructure.
With more than 20 years of experience
in Europe, the Middle East, the Far East and
recent installations in Australia and Russia,
we are at the fore front of the supply chain
to most of the government states and critical
infrastructure sites.
Despite all the challenges and difficulties of
working in hostile environments, Frontier Pitts
team of engineers installed all the equipment,
whilst training local personnel, further
cementing Frontier Pitts as the top name in the
global HVM market.
