A PSSA member and a leading manufacturer of anti-terrorism bollards and barriers has been named by a major national media chain among this year’s ‘ones to watch’.
Safetyflex Barriers, based in Coventry, has been included in Business Live’s ‘Ones to Watch in 2022’, which has been curated by industry experts and published by Reach Plc.
The firm has been praised for its “innovative products” and “strong export book”, and is tipped to build on a successful 2021 which saw them strike major deals in Australia and Germany.
Marcus Gerrard, director at Safetyflex, said: “We are delighted to be named among the companies to watch in 2022 – it is a great way to kick-off the year.
“Last year was a hugely successful one for Safetyflex, expanding our workforce and operations on the back of major new contracts, whilst we also securing our 35th patent worldwide, bolstering our ability to serve as a world-leader in anti-terrorism bollards and barriers.
“We now have over 30 innovative products in the Safetyflex range, all of which are manufactured or part-manufactured right here in Coventry, and crash tested to PAS68 and IWA14 standards.
“The past year has been incredibly busy, and throughout the course of the pandemic we have seen orders increase.
“Safetyflex already has lots to get excited about in 2022 with new contracts helping us expand our innovative offering to even more customers as we look to build on our track record of year-on-year growth.”
Safetyflex Barriers was established in 2010, and has now installed security schemes in more than a dozen countries in five continents
Products in its range include crash-rated bollards, barriers, fencing, gates, as well as its unique Truckstopper bollards and barriers range which can halt an 18-tonne vehicle travelling at 50mph.
