British perimeter security manufacturer, Heald Ltd, has appointed Yan Ferrieres as the Overseas Sales Support lead. Based in Hornsea, East Yorkshire, Heald Ltd specializes in designing and manufacturing unique hostile vehicle mitigation (HVM) solutions, including road blockers and bollards. Their products are installed globally at high-profile locations such as King Abdullah Sports Stadium (Saudi Arabia), Avinor Airport (Norway), the World Trade Centre, and the UN building in New York City.
With over 20 years of experience in the HVM industry and a background in export sales, Yan brings extensive expertise and multilingual skills to this role. His focus will be on enhancing operations across the Middle East and Europe, regions that have shown strong receptivity to Heald’s products. The Middle East, in particular, was Heald’s first export market over two decades ago and remains an active operation site for their installations.
Yan’s responsibilities will also include supporting Heald’s customers in France and Belgium and generating new opportunities in these regions. This appointment is part of Heald’s ongoing growth strategy, which includes a recent expansion with a German subsidiary.
Debbie Heald MBE, Co-owner and Managing Director of Heald, expressed enthusiasm about Yan joining the team, citing his extensive experience and past collaborative projects. Yan Ferrieres also shared his excitement about driving growth in key regions for Heald.
Yan will lead Heald’s participation in the upcoming security conference, Intersec, in Dubai, scheduled for 16-18th January.
