Great news about CLD Fencing Systems! The company has been awarded the silver medal Sustainability Rating from EcoVadis. EcoVadis is a company that helps over 85,000 businesses in different sectors with its sustainability efforts and achievements. The firms methodology measures the quality of the company’s sustainability management systems through policies used, actions taken and proven results. CLD Fencing Systems have been committed to improving its sustainability values and environmental actions in line with standards and government policies. More and more companies are looking at their supply chains to make ethical and environmental choices to those previously held. CLD Fencing Systems wanted to prove its commitment. That’s why CLD Fencing Systems is pleased to share, that in the first year of being assessed by EcoVadis, the company was in the top 25% of ratings, earning the Silver Medal for sustainability. This Silver Medal ratings demonstrates a promise to environmental and sustainable ways of working, helping both customers and CLD Fencing Systems’ own personal targets meet sustainable requirements. Council Members Election 2022 At the annual general meeting the PSSA were pleased to welcome two new Council members and retain three experienced members. The Council members to be formally appointed at the 2022 Perimeter Security Suppliers Association Annual General Meeting are: Re-elected Council Members Roger Knight - Roger is Head of NPD and Eng Landscape Protection at Marshalls. Roger is re-elected to the Council for a four year term. Debbie Heald - Debbie is Managing Director for Heald and also acts as PSSA treasurer. Debbie is re-elected to the Council for a four year term. Steve Gaffer - Steve is Technical Sales Director for Frontier Pitts. Steve is re-elected to the Council for a four year term. Newly Appointed Council Members Jens Hermann Jens is Managing Director at Avon Barrier, having previously acted as Division Manager System Sales for PPG. With extensive experience in the industry Jens is pleased to join the PSSA network to discuss points of concern and change information to make companies stronger. Jens is elected for a four year term. Deborah Ainscough Deborah is founder and Operations Director at Crowdguard. With experience in providing innovative HVM and perimeter protection products for crowd management and site security, Deborah is excited by the opportunity to take an active role in raising the profile of the importance of perimeter security systems in keeping people safe and supporting high standards for our sector. Deborah is elected for a four year term.
