Waiting is not an option – action is needed. Perimeter Protection Germany Group is aware of its responsibility and has therefore launched an exciting new project "Perimeter Protection becomes GREEN". First, an independent testing institute determined the current CO2 footprint. On this basis, the decision was made to go two ways. Firstly, an internal "PGG Energy Team" is to be formed within the company to identify, plan and implement potential for CO2 savings. On the other hand, unavoidable CO2-emissions will be compensated by supporting environmental projects. In 2020, for example, a TÜV NORD certified reforestation project in Uruguay and a UN hydropower project in India will be realised. This will enable a climate-neutral company and further sustainable action. Since 2nd June 2020, Perimeter Protection Group is now completely climate neutral. This means that no CO2 footprint is left behind from development to production and logistics. This makes Perimeter Protection Group the first company in this field to achieve this ambitious goal in a very short time.
