ISSUE 24 September 2019  | NEWS – 1 – Eagle expand sales team with new appointment PAGE 14 It is great to give another update on the continued growth of the PSSA; we have had another busy period of new members including international companies which indicates how the brand is strengthening not just in the UK. I would like to extend a welcome to Pitagone, Crowdguard, Volkmann and Rossbach and Swaraj Secutech who you can find out more about as you read on. The Security Interact in June was well attended with lots of feedback received on the interesting range of topics. Many attendees were interested in the opportunities available within academic study to further develop security knowledge as well as the informative presentation from Gallagher Security on the increasing concern of cyber security. The newsletter features a follow up article on this to give further information. The next Interact Day will be held in January 2020 with speakers already confirmed for topics including international trade, event protection, threat mitigation and blast effects. Tickets will be released in the coming weeks and we advise booking early! We especially look forward to welcoming representatives from our newest members. The PSSA link with the US Security Industry Association (SIA) may also give the prospect of a USA specific interact day. We are working to offer this to our members and will keep you updated. We are now looking ahead to International Security Expo in December where PSSA will exhibit along with a number of members.
