We are running some introductory sessions on the general subject and mechanics of BIM led by James Holland who is an expert on this topic. PSSA AGM date confirmed The date for the PSSA AGM has been confirmed as December 6th. This is a great opportunity for all members to come together to discuss the work the association is doing as well as what is going on within their own business. You can give your input to how to get the most out of PSSA. Put the date in your diary now and more information will follow closer to the time. We look forward to seeing all members. CPD presenter training Due to high demand, a further round of CPD presenter training has been confirmed for 17th September 2018. This increase in presenter numbers will mean we can contact even more organisations who are in need of independent advice on HVM to give them the appropriate advice and support. The new presenters will receive training on Permanent and Temporary HVM solutions so they are confident with their knowledge and can conduct their own seminars. The new training will take place at Zaun in Wolverhampton. Please contact admin@pssasecurity.org to book your place. An opportunity for PSSA members to protect The Lima 2019 Games Would you like to get involved in securing the fourth largest sporting event in the world? The Pan and ParaPan American Games will take place in Lima in 2019 with security opportunities available. Millions of pounds are being spent on infrastructure and you are in prime position to secure this work. The Department for International Trade (DIT) recently held a Trade Mission for UK companies in Lima exploring the opportunities available. DIT will be able to guide you through doing business in Peru and supporting you to win contracts.
