O’Connor Fencing Ltd is pleased to announce that following an audit conducted by BSI we have been recommended for certification to ISO 9001: 2015. This achievement builds upon our current certification to ISO 9001: 2008, attained in April 2016, and is part of a continuous improvement programme designed to maintain O’Connor Fencing Limited’s position at the forefront of the high security fencing industry.
Gary O’Connor, contracts director of the company, commented ‘Our customers have high expectations of quality and increasingly are demanding suppliers be certified to ISO 9001 in order qualify as an approved supplier. Obtaining independent certification of our quality management system provides confidence to our customers that we have processes in place which guarantee the quality of product and service we provide’.
Aligned to this achievement is O’Connor Fencing Ltd continued independent CE certification for fabrication of structural steel up to execution class 2 and registration with safety schemes in procurement (SSIP) organisations including CHAS, Achilles and Constructionline. Joe Clark, QSHE Manager, commented ‘Certification of our quality management system, registration with SSIP organisations, membership of RoSPA and our excellent safety record demonstrates to the workforce and customers that quality and safety go hand in hand’.
