An event focusing on physical security organised by The Department for International Trade at the British Embassy in Oslo.
Wednesday October 10th 2018, 08.45 – 15.00
The Department for International Trade (DIT) at the British Embassy Oslo is hosting a one-day event to give UK and Norwegian companies, organisations and officials a platform to meet and gain insight into some of the current and future projects in Norway.
The UK has an international reputation for expertise and experience in the security sector and Norway is keen to learn from one of their closest neighbours and see what the UK has to offer. In July 2011, Government offices in the centre of Oslo were the target of a terrorist attack. As a result, buildings and infrastructure in the ‘Government Quarter’ is being redeveloped.
In addition the security of public buildings and critical infrastructure is in the spotlight. Other developments planned in Norway include securing the city of Oslo and the Royal Palace.
DIT Norway is organising the event to give UK companies the opportunity to present their products and services to key influencers and decision-makers in Norway.
DIT Norway will be inviting guests from both the public and private sectors. This is the second time DIT Norway is organising an event focusing on physical security. The first one in 2017 was very well received and resulted in a full house.
Due to limited space in the Residence places will be allocated on a first come first served basis. Provisional
