National Vehicle Threat Mitigation Unit
The National Vehicle Threat Mitigation Unit (NVTMU) deploys the National Barrier Asset (NBA), which is a substantial amount of tested Vehicle Security Barriers (VSB) with integrated fencing. The NBA is temporary and can be installed throughout the UK at short notice. It is usually deployed at high level / UK Critical events but can be used during this time to support CNI / Other key sites if existing vehicle security barriers fail or the security posture of a site needs increasing at short notice.
