ATG Access got the gold on Friday 22nd June winning top honours at the Liverpool ECHO Regional Business Awards. The Haydock firm took home the International Business Award for its hard work as one of the leading exporters in the North West. The firm innovates and manufactures high-security bollards and barriers, which protect sites around the world. Winning the award tops off a great year for ATG Access, which has seen the bollard manufacturer celebrate ten years of export and report an increase in yearly turnover of 12%.
Now in its 24th year, the prestigious awards are put together by the Liverpool ECHO newspaper and the Business Post magazine, with sponsorship from Liverpool John Moore’s University. Held at Liverpool Cathedral, the ceremony was attended by hundreds of city leaders and businesses large and small from all across the region.
Finding itself in a competitive group, ATG was up against wallpaper specialists, Milexa and waste management firm Inciner8. In the end, ATG’s hard work and increasing presence across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East helped snag the win.
ATG Sales Director, Gavin Hepburn was there to collect the award along with staff members from across the company. Gavin had this to say “It’s been a great honour to win this award and it’s a testament to all the hard work everyone at ATG has put into making us one of the top security exporters in the UK”.
Not a company to sit on its laurels ATG Access is looking to make 2018 even bigger as it continues to expand into new international markets and looks to celebrate its 30th year in business.
